Deepavali Stage Dancer

Memories Of Sunway Photoshoot...

Went to Sunway Pyramid with Uwei to collect our passes for the Memories of Sunway Photo Competiton.. Met up with Qi Hong and his ex- Joling.. and his soon to be girl friend.. Well, we started our photoshoot soon after a quick lunch in Kim Gary's.. As we was walking around the mall looking for angles to shoot.. We heard some noises of people performing near the stage in the new wing.. Rushed there and saw TV3 doing a shoot for Deepavali.. Saw the host for Kelab Disney Malaysia.. Don't know her name though.. but she's sporting enough to pose for me to shoot.. I must say she have a very nice and natural smile.. Perfect model for portrait shoot.. =P

One thing i can say about my pass... This thing is superb.. We gained free access to Sunway Lagoon,.. Thought of going back there with a waterproof compact camera and surfpants to play.. =P...Anyway.. there is a newly built Safari Zone inside Sunway Lagoon.. Many kinds of animals to shoot.. touch and play with.. Actually this photo outing is much better than the previous KL Birdpark outing.. The animals here are more sporting and camera friendly i guess...=p

In the end.. we got tired and left the place around 5pm.. I have to say.. this outing is the best.. Im lovin It.. =P.. Sunway rocks!!.. Well.. gonna go back there once again with more photo-kakis...Hope you all enjoyed my pics.. More will come from the next outing..=P

KLPF - Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2008

Went to this event yesterday in Berjaya Times Square in KL.. To be frank.. This is the first photography fair or exhibition i've ever been to.. The place is like so big!!.. So many pros giving talks and seminars... So many big retailers selling stuff at a cheap price... Went there with my college mate Kent and met my uncle who flew all the way from Terengganu to attend this Photo Fest..

Well.. i passed by a booth selling studio lights and has been asked to pose as a model...

Nice huh??.. I know my posing skills sucks... =P.. and besides all these.. i get to test the newly launched EOS 5d Mark II from Canon.. To me.. that piece of machine rocks... The details are superb and the video quality can match a video camera's quality...

SS2 Sunday Street Shooting

Woke up early and went to SS2 with my college friend- Kent and some PhotoMalaysia Forum members.. Met new friends and 2 more Canon Kakis..=P.. Managed to test out the performance of my new Baby 'L'iz... and i must say ther performance is superb from the time feel it till u grab the shot.. The AF is fast and silent .. The colors and contrast is sweet and the 'Bokeh' or background blur and sharpness is fantastic...

Anyway.. most of my portrait shots of people are shot using my trusty Tammy SP-90mm as i need more distance to snipe from far and also I prefer to shoot portraits using prime lenses.. Anyway.. The pics will do the talking as i am lazy to elobrate more... =P

Product Shooting..

Tried product shooting these few days in my DIY home studio.. 1st time doing it.. might not be that nice compared to pros that used those tilt-shift professional lenses... As i done these shots using my trusty Tammy SP90 and a 580EX speedlight!.. =P

KL Butterfly Park

Also known as 'Butt Farm'... A miniature lush garden planted with various types of plants. The KL butterfly farm is home to thousands of butterflies and many other insects.. So, i decided to explore this place again with Wai Ye on the 2nd day of raya.. Reached there in the morning and our eyes are being captivated by the colors of the colorful butterflies. Quickly i set up my gears and started shooting.. My weapons this time includes my trusty Tammy SP90mm and a DIY macro light diffuser..

The pics will show you the colors of the magnificent insects we saw that day.. Pardon as i did not shot many butterflies as i supposed to be shooting in a Bufferfly Park as these insects are less cooperative and will nvr stay still to let me shoot... =P

Woohoo.. a beginning of a new month.. I guess most of you are expecting today.. cos its a holiday to all of us Malaysians but before that..i would like to wish all my Malay friends Selamat Hari Raya Adilfitri.. Forgive me for not inserting a picture of the Raya atmosphere..

Secondly.. i would also wana wish my special someone for everything you've given to me.. i will never forget all the sweet moments spent with you.. I wish you would always remain by my side.. =P.. Happy anniversary to u !! and Thank you for all you've given me.. Love u always!! <3
